When I thought about this fruit, I did not only think about humans, but I also thought about the environment and animals. These are some examples of my uses:
1. This are used sometimes to make recipes, such as cake, chips.
2. This can be used to provide animals with food to remedy their starvation.
3. This object's skin can be used as a mask.
4. It's skin can also be used for skincare.
Now, i know that i have left out something... What could that possibly be?

The fish
Yesterday, at about 2.00pm, my family and I thought that the weather was very windy and cooling, as it was just after a downpour. Thus, we decided to go fishing at Bedok jetty, to have "quality time" together. The ride there was about 25 minutes, and I kept controlling myself from bursting out with excitement! It had been quite a long time before we actually went fishing together. Adrenaline just kept rushing through my body!
Just as we went there, I realised that the clouds were dark and i thought that it was going to rain again. Just as I was about to get my raincoat, My father said that it would not rain, and he was right. Usually, when we fished there, we had to wait a long while before we could get a fish. I thought that it was going to be the same, but it turned out to be different. Just as I put my 2 baits into the water, i felt movement and pull immediately, a second later, both baits were gone. (By the way, I am not "describing", it was really one second.) Then, curiosity struck my mind as I looked down to see what exactly was happening. I was devastated. A school of fish were at the surface of the water!
Then, after my father put 2 more bait on my rod, I slowly railed it into the water. This time, I was aware of what was happening. I lowered the rail until it just reached the surface of the water, as the school of fish rushed to it. I could see the fish biting my bait. This time, i quickly railed it up and caught two of them. Now, I knew why my bait was gone the previous time. All the fish were attacking at once. The next moment, after my father put another piece of bait on the rod, my brother shouted I got 2 fishes! Then, my father let out a heavy sigh as he knew that it meant more work for him.
The fish repeatedly got tricked by us as we railed them up one after another. However, after a while, the fish seemed to get smarter. This time, when i put the rail in, they bit only a part of a bait and when I lifted the rod up, the fish would just drop back into the water. This happened the same 10 times in the row(I am not joking), causing me to be both frustrated and infuriated!
Just after this frustrating experience, my brother said,"Look how stupid these fishes are!" Then he showed me his rod and then i knew why. He had no bait all along and the fishes just got hooked on to it for no utter reason! Then, he looked into the pail that we kept all the fishes we caught and observed them closely. Next, he said," These fishes can it prawn shells!"
Hearing what he had just said, I took the prawn shells and used them as bait as the fishes still got tricked by us and got hooked on to it. At the end of the 2-hour fish, for once, we actually managed to get more than 20 fishes!
It was a really fun experience and I really hope that the next time the school holidays come, I would be able to go fishing again.

What the pledge means to me
To me, the pledge is a powerful equipment that joins the country together. Everytime i say the pledge, i feel proud as in the pledge, many good qualities are mentioned. This qualities inspire people to be a better person. This makes me feel safer as we know that if everybody in Singapore feels inspired, practically no one would do bad deeds, which means our environment would be safe and sound. Without the pledge, i would not be here today. One of the qualities include racial harmony. This is one of the most important as without this, singapore would have war within itself and it would be a corrupt country. With this, races in Singapore would work together and would be a one united nation. We must think back to the past...

H1N1- the vaccine race
As the H1N1 virus is spreading tremendously, we must protect ourselves more. We should practise good hygiene; we should wash our hands very frequently, and not share substances with others. From one case before the june holidays to much more than a thousand a month later, the disease is really really spreading rapidly. When a vaccine is made to protect us from the spread, the disease, as though alive, goes into a different spread, that makes the vaccine redundant. What i am afraid of is that it becomes a more deadly spread! From this experience, i learnt that we should be more viligent and alert at all times.

The NE Show
The NE show was spectacular. It felt as if it was really the real NDP.
Firstly, it was quite funny when they said that the prime minister was here, but when the guards opened the door of the police car, a boy, probably 20 or below walked out of it. The adrenaline in my body disappeared immediately, having me heave a giant sigh, due to the fact that i was hoping to see the real prime minister! However, the deputy prime minister and defence minister was real, it was such a good experience and exposure to meet him!

Not only that, we could also meet famous actors such as Michelle Chong, Mark Lee,Suhaimi Yusof and Veneta Lopest. They were so funny, it was like a once in a lifetime experience! LIke how they act in television shows, they changed their clothes swiftly as they took up different roles. Some of their attires were quite weird and strange!
I took many videos for the marching parade. When one of the commanders was shouting, I did not know what he was saying! The way they marched looked difficult, I really envied them. There were so many crowds, I really was devastated!
It drizzled almost every 45 minutes. I did many precautions every time it happened. However, the rain stopped less than 5 minutes later, as i could hear people hollering at me to put my umbrella down. The same scenario happened every time, until I felt very bad for doing that. Ithappened about 4 times, what really scared me was the 5th time.
The beginning was about the same, it drizzled just like the previous consecutive times. Suddenly, the slow pittar- patter on the ground became a heavy downpour. I was caught unprepared, as rain battered on both me and the ground. I took up my bag and umbrella, scurried away as the crowd was evacuating. It was really like a flood, the stairs was like a mini- waterfall!
The walk to shelter was quite long. After we finally got onto the bus and sat down, i could not sit down. my pants was drenched, it was really freezing! Just as the bus was about to move, i realised something, i had left my food, my goodie bag and my cap there. I kept blaming myself in the heart for being so forgetful.
After i reached to the school, i told myself something in my heart: to be alert, ready for a catastrophe at all times, and not be forgetful.

Life in Ancient Greece
If i were living in greece, I would feel very pain in my heart; for the fact that totally uneducated women are walking around the streets. I feel that the women really need education, we should treat every body, regardless of gender fairly.
It is really hurting to know that if the husband dies, the wife does not get to own the property, but instead gets thrown out on the road. If her child is a male, she would still be able to live in the house. However, if her child is a female, both her and her child would be thrown on the streets and probably and sadly, left to die.
I really should feel grateful about living in singapore, getting perfect education all the time. Even if you pay me a large sum of money, i still would not want to go there...

The Holidays are almost over!
The holidays are almost over, so I wish to treasure the last part of the holidays. With still a little homework not done, i feel very stressed. Not that I don't want to do it, it's that i don't know how to do it! School is starting soon, what am i suppose to do?
Except for this reason that makes me dread the first day of school, but I would really really want to see my friends again. I wonder if they have any physical changes, for example: getting taller, bigger etc.(I totally did not have) . I would also want school to start again as I gain much information from the school and we can learn it together as a class.
As I have mentioned before, I really do not know what I should be hoping for!
